About Purdue Graduate Student Education
Council (GSEC)

Purdue GSEC exists as the umbrella student group over the College of Education here at Purdue. We are dedicated to making your graduate student experience the best it can be. 

As stated in our Constitution, the purpose of GSEC is to:
  • support and encourage graduate student growth in discovery, learning and engagement;
  • encourage interdisciplinary collaboration;
  • encourage student/faculty interaction and faculty mentoring of graduate students;
  • represent the needs and concerns of all graduate student organizations with an education focus.
